Transferring Pro Tools 9HD license via ASC and the TOO question

Hey all,

A blast from the past question:

I was keeping a Pro Tools 9HD license on an iLok in case I wanted to upgrade it and have a second satellite PT HD Mac. I decided to sell it instead.

This 9HD license seems not to be registered on my Avid account although I am the "owner" of the iLok license.

Can I transfer this license to another owner via the ASC?

IIRC, you don’t need to use the ASC for Pro Tools transfers for versions 10 and before. ILok manager should tell you it is transferable (in details of the license) which means no need for ASC (the ASC ones show not transferable which is when Avid gets involved.) Just the ilok fee.

Nope, Pro Tools 8HD and below is transferable. 9HD onwards is not, at least not via iLok. It needs to go via ASC and says so on the TOO form. I bought an ASC, I phoned Avid EMEA but no one picked up the phone.
