Default TG12413 Limiter substitute?

Anyone have ideas for a AAX version of TG12413 Limiter plug-in?
I used this awesome plug all the time and I don't see a new AAX version anywhere, and it looks like it is discontinued. Anyone have suggestions?

Neither the original EMI limiter, EQ or indeed the RS124 compressor plugins made it out of RTAS/TDM unlike the Brilliance Pack

The Waves TG12345 limiter has a similar sound and you also get the Spreader control from the transfer desk Plus is it rock bottom price right now.

The new Universal Audio Chandler Limited’s TG12413 Zener Limiter is great! It's the best I've found sense the old TDM abbey road version. I too was sad when that went away.

The Waves TG12345 isn't just a limiter although it has that function as part of the channel strip. Would really like to see someone put out the RS124 in s/w.

yes. Me too.

the RS124 and the RCA Ba6a are the notable 'missing' compressors in plugin form.

I would have thought Waves would have done this before doing vinyl or something but who knows why.

I loved the original and would also love to see it.

There's some kind of weird licensing deal going on with Abbey Road and Waves; I kind of believe it's tied in with why the Brilliance Pack is with Softtube now.

Nothing weird about it, just the same reason why Studio Classics were not included in Mercury -- they need to pay royalty. It costs them money if they just gave it away for us "everything" customers, so therefore they make it a separate bundle, an exception to their "everything".

You know, the internet archive still finds a Waves promise that their Gold bundle has everything they will ever make It also finds a Waves promise that they will support every major platform. I bet it took a bunch of lawyers to decide that Avid AAX-DSP isn't a major plugin platform...

It's a shame but I had an email link to a Winter NAMM from a couple of years ago where the Waves guy was talking about supporting every major platform.

Totally. Have you ever met a person who has actually paid for this new Waves DSP after the total fiasco of APA boxes? I haven't.
