Eleven Rack Editor window dissapears

Hello, I have recently (in the last two weeks) installed the Eleven Rack Editor on my home PC to use with PT 11 and to launch it w/o PT running because of its convenience to work on guitar tones. Initially it worked fine, however the past several times that I launched the application it would load as normal but then the window just disappears. the program is still running (it shows in the task bar) and in task manager but there is no window. I am running a PC with Windows 7 sp1 and have all of the current Avid drivers installed.

Others on Windows 7 have mentioned this as well. Try the solutions they used.

Thank you for your reply. I tried both suggestions but neither of them proved to be successful for me. Very strange as it initially worked for a week or so. Ill keep trying, I really liked using the interface without having to launch pro tools.

If the editor window is off the screen, you may want to try the following.

Hold down the shift key and right click on the editor item in the taskbar.
Choose Move from the men and use your arrow keys to bring it back on screen.

This is similar to the technique in one of the posts above, except that using the arrow keys should pop it back on screen.

This works on Win 7 and 8. If you are on XP, it will still work, there is just no need to hold down shift when right clicking on the taskbar item.

Okay, its back, thank you very much! Was strange though, used shift key and arrows to bring it back....then had to minimize and restore to get the interface inside the actual window....hard to explain, but I am grateful for the assistance.

I am having the same issues. When I open the 11R Editor It immediately drops to the taskbar and is unable to maximize. I am running windows 8 Pro and I have Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT graphics card.

I have tried task manager to bring to the front but that is not working for me.

I got the window to appear by holding down shift and moving to the middle of the screen. now I am left with only seeing half of the editor.
