Pro Tools does not see C24

We have a Pro Tools C24 system. It was acting all screwy so we reset the board and now Pro Tools will not recognize the C24 at all. When it powers up it seems to flash momentarily but then it sits off-line with no fader lights - no nothing. I believe everything is still fine as far as the ethernet cable - we didn't touch that. Is there some other simple software setting on Pro Tools I am missing? Could it be another reset that needs to be done on the C24? We are running Pro Tools 8.0.3 on a Mac Pro with 4GBs of memory. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you can point us to a step-by-step setup rather than a general response - we are not very tech savvy. Thanks!

2. Does the C24 pass all the tests under the utility function?

I think the C24 is still setup as a controller - how can I double-check?

We ran the reset function and there seemed to be no problem. Is there a test function I should run? Any instructions on how to do it?

I just noticed that you had the problem in 2010 that I have now. My mac pro(pro tools) does not recognize the C24. Did you ever find out what it was? If so, help!
