Default Sync Protools LE?

Hi,
How does one sync protools le to a MIDI? I look in the manual and it is not obvious to me. I am trying to dump tracks from an Akai DPS 16 to protools through the S/PDIF ports. The Akai can be either master or slave to MTC. I have succesfully done to my previous PC system with Cool edit Pro. You just tell cool edit to lock to incoming MIDI and hit play on the Akai.
I need to dump more than two tracks. I know it is fairly easy to line tracks back up in protools but I would think I could get it to lock to an external clock with out too much fight.
Thanks in advance,

Greg N.
