Default IS this a bug with 7.3.1cs5?:Session template creation

Hi,
Whenever I try to do a stationary pad procedure so as to have session templates, Pro Tools closes everything and just creates another icon (name Session copy) without prompting the message: edit or create new session, as I used to see with version 5.x.

Am I doing soemthing wrong? I have just read the manual on page 92, and is exactlya s I did in the past.

Page 92:
(In the MAc finder, locate session file, click once to select it, choose file get info, if necessary click the general expand/collapse..... select stationary pad, select the locked option, close the info window).

Thanks

it's a known issue. don't know who's fault but if you open from within PT all is well. Workspace is your friend!!!

longer than that, maybe 7.1 or 7.2. I think it's an OS issue, might have been since Tiger.

Yeah, launch PT and open from the Workspace or Open Session Dialog.
