Default Expansion Chassis Alternative?

This expansion chassis is very affordable and is full of features. Could this work with Pro Tools?

An even better reason for Digidesign not to approve would be that it doesn't work with audio cards! I had one in and tried it.

Mobility owns Magma, by the way.
