Default Automation trick for midi needed

Hi

What I'd like to do is recording a Mod Wheel move on an instrument track (cause I assigned Mod Wheel to a plug in parameter on that track) without erasing the Midi notes.

Actually when I select the Mod Wheel display on this track in the Edit window, it records my Modwheel moves and erase the midi notes that are already recorded at the same place.

Any ideas? Help would be much apreciated

S.

Do you have MIDI Merge enabled? If not - that's likely the problem.
