Popping during recording, please help!

Kinda new w/ the ProTools setup, lots of loud popping going on only when I have it in record mode. It wasnt doing it before but now is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have to increase the H/W buffer size but ditto on JFreak post, please read "help us help you" so you can give us the info we need to help you solve your problem.

I've tried raising the buffer size, still popping. ive tried changing out my 96 and new cables as well. just frustrated at this point ha. Like i said I'm new to this so what kind of info would you be looking for?

So I say it again, read the Help Us Help You page and give us information.

I can only guess that because you said "96" you have a PTHD system and a Digidesign 96 interface. In that case, I can suggest that you try another DigiLink cable because pops and clicks are most likely clocking issues that can easily be fixed by replacing broken cables.
