Can't Press Play

Everytime I hit play it comes up with the errors
Assertion in "..\Source\DSK\PlayerEngine.cpp", line 203

So I press okay, and then whenever I try to press play I get the error saying
Assertion in "..Mdie_TrackPlayer.cpp", line 476

I had troubles initially getting everything set up, but I've had it working on and off. It seems to me that Pro Tools is completely volatile and breaks every time you turn your back on it...
I'm just trying to record a single track of vocals using my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 on Pro Tools 10.1.2 and would like to do so to an audio track.

You are gonna need a secondary drive attached (internally recommended) before you are able to do any recording......

Just by looking at the cursory glance of your Sandra (thanks btw, you can't imagine how hard it is for some people to install that little app)

it seems you only have one drive......and that will not cut it....


I have 3 TB drives in my system.

1 is the O/S
2 is the Recording Target
3 is the Sample drive (BFD2, native hopefully soon)

There is no other way around it....Sorry.

BTW. I would get the drive with as much cache as possible - 64mb if u can
