I love Pro Tools , but honestly the name ISIS for any of your products is just about the worst name in the universe.

Change the name of the product line, you don't even need a reason.

They've had the name since 2006, it means Infinitely Scalable Intelligent Storage

I don't really think it's up to Avid to change the acronyms they use just because some other group is referred to that, and many other names by the way.

However, I do see your point. For example, my grandfather's middle name was Adolf. He fought in WWII against the nazi's. Whenever he was required to write his full name on any document he always wrote Adolf in lower case (adolf) So I DO understand. And if this 'matter' continues for many years, perhaps Avid will come up with a new name that uses a different acronym.

Also, Isis (not the acronym) is an Egyptian goddess.

Again, I get your point, but maybe not turning our lives around is the best way to continue. But yeah, I do feel weird having to type "Avid ISIS" into google, pretty sure I'm on a list now
