Re: 10.1.2/10.1.3 crashes when changing Playback Engine settings
i don't see how the reasonable suggestion of uninstalling any earlier version of Pro Tools and then installing the latest version infers that you would also need to uninstall your plug-ins and sample content. just seems like it would make for a clean install of the latest version of the application. on mac, the uninstaller makes this pretty clear, and on windows you have to uninstall all plug-ins and their content independently of Pro Tools.

Re: 10.1.2/10.1.3 crashes when changing Playback Engine settings
Digi Tech Support,
So, which Pro Tools Uninstaller option am I choosing... Safe or Clean? I also have the Pro Tools Instrument Expansion Pack (PTIEP) & TL Space Native installed. Do I have to re-install this software after running the 10.2 uninstaller/installer? Thanks... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MacBook Pro 17-inch (Early 2011), 2.2 GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, 8GB SDRAM, 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 RPM, Lion 10.7.4, Pro Tools 10.1.3 |

I did safe. On windows and Mac It worked fine. All plug-ins were still working post install. The 10.2 installer ran a plugin updated during the install as well.
