Default PT Communication Problem

Technical information is in sig.
Third time in under an hour Pro Tools stops during playback or recording with the error message that it cannot communicate with Eleven Rack. Each time Pro Tools closes, I disconnect and reconnect the interface to my computer as the error box prompts, and reboot Pro Tools. This has not started until fairly recently, and has begun to happen every 10 minutes or so. Obviously, there is some communication going at the beginning, or else I would be getting a communication error from the beginning.

Talk about disruption in workflow.

Unsure of any firmware or drivers. Cannot find that information. Sandra reports take too long to complete, and time is a priority here.

Does it say "Eleven Rack #2"?

If it does, try this

Otherwise, make sure you have things like Sleep disabled and Selective Suspend. Try another USB cable, another USB port. Trash Pro Tools preferences. Make sure you are running the latest driver for the 11R.
