Co-install is not broken. This release does *not* break anything, it adds support for Mavericks.

As for what the future will bring, no doubt they will address co-install on Mavericks. But please remember that, until today, Mavericks was not supported at all.

I already have 10.3.7 running on Mavericks.
I can't imagine 11.0.3 is going to break that, but since 11.0.2 is okay for me on Mavericks I'll pass.

If you've updated to PT 11.0.3, when you click "About Pro Tools.." in the upper left - does it say 11.0.3 ?

A friend of mine upgraded, but the "About" box says it's still 11.0.2.

Wondering if that's an Avid oversight, or his software didn't install correctly.

If it's an oversight, look for 11.0.4 to fix 11.0.3 saying it's 11.0.2

Thanks Deng, yes I think that's what he did.

He then tried to uninstall, the uninstaller hung.

I suggested he restore his backup which will revert to Mountain Lion, uninstall Pro Tools 10.3.7 and 11.0.2, install Mavericks, then install 11.0.3.

(asking on his behalf, I personally don't have PT11 yet, not in a hurry to give up TDM only plug ins like SoundBlender, PitchDoctor, etc.)

Sad to report that video in PT 11.0.3 is still flaky and delayed when you hit the play button. Sometimes, it will still freeze (looking like it's primed for playback, i.e. flashing play button).

Oh well, at least 10.3.7 is still working. (con-install is not busted)

Think I'll wait a while since it is not supporting PT10 to run on Mavericks and I am still waiting on Slate VCC , Massey, and NuGen AAX 64

Not to assume you haven't checked this already, but... What setting do you have for "Play Start Latency" under Prefs>Operation>Video?

I have it set to the "1-Shortest" setting. It's just not instant like 10.3.7 HD is.

Nothing was fixed in 11.0.3. As posted before 11.0.3 only adds Mavericks support. No more no less.
