Reformatting my Desktop and all External Drives for a clean install of Pro Tools 9 :)

Reformatted the whole 3 Drives, Installed a clean version of Pro Tools 9 and only Spectrasonics Plugins with all their updates .... New Clean Project .... Once I reached the 8th Channel in Stylus RMX !! Got my lovely Access Violation message :) ....
Pro Tools Problem ?
Better switch to Cubase 64 Bit ?? :)

Cubase is a great DAW, but I don't think switching and learning a new DAW in this case is necessary, unless of course you just want to.

1) Are you using 64sample buffer?

2) Have you contacted Spectrasonics?

3) If you're going to spend money anyway on another software/DAW, why not try Reaper ReWire or VE Pro? Both cheaper and that way you're still using PT.

I did contact Spectra since the first day I posted it here and yet no solution ... they advised to re install and same issues ... i am using a 256 Sample Buffer better go to 1024 ? :S
