Default Net-Mix vs Soundminer

Hello all,

Looking for an XP alternative to Soundminer for a suite that has to be XP. Are there any Net-Mix users who are also familiar with Soundminer would like to discuss the pros/cons of Net-Mix?

Please feel free to email me directly at [email protected] with any comments, or post here.

Thanks.

Hello again,

Last try, then I'll let this thread die. Is no one using Netmix for spotting effects in ProTools, Mac or PC? I'd love any feedback.

Thanks.

Have a look at FXLibrary at www.fxlibrary.co.uk
It's a Windows based sound effects database / play-out system. Download the demo for an idea of what it can do, it's much cheaper than NetMix too.

Contact me via the website for more info.

Thanks for the reply.

We are really looking for something that can spot to the timeline with handles. Does your software offer that option?

Thanks.

Brad, I think I read something on the Nuendo post forum (nuendo-post.com) about a wintel fx program being developed by Steve Tushar, the moderator on that forum. Here's the link:
