Default How Many Tracks Can You Get With Firewire?

I know this has been touched on before, but can anyone tell me what your maximum track count has been with a 7200 rpm firewire drive?

I'm about to add a supplemental hard drive or two to my system and exploring this as an option. Can you record 22 tracks at once?

Thanks
