Default Real tape Suite

I have a SC48 remote system running venue V3. I cant seem to load the tape Suite onto it. I go the avid site and down load the venue installer with is 8.03 ,witch I think is the newest one. I down load it and unzip it and add to usb stick and then put stick in venue and it doesn't see it. Any ideas ?

Tim

Ok, on the stick, the installer needs to be in "TDM Plug-Ins" folder, maybe you missed that?

Yes, but if you put that folder in root folder of the stick this won't work.

You will need to create TDM Plug-Ins folder and put the installer folder in there. And in the future, other installers too. Like Waves or any other Venue installer.

For plugins that do not have a dedicated VENUE installers you need to "exit to desktop" and install the plugins on the Windows side of the desk just like a typical Pro Tools plugin gets installed on windows computer.
