Default Sampled Baldwin piano available

1954 Baldwin Parlor Grand

I've released a new sampled Baldwin grand, the first high quality Baldwin available on the market. It's made to be used with UVI Workstation, which can be used as an AAX plugin in ProTools.

The sampled library uses .flac compression (lossless), so the whole thing is less than 3.5 gigs to download.

The piano was sampled from four mic perspectives....

Close (small diaphragm vintage Neumann KM84 condenser inside the piano)
Mid (AEA R88 stereo ribbon 18" from the open lid)
Mono (AEA R84 mono ribbon behind the player's perspective)
Far (AKG C414 in an adjacent, open door drum booth)

You can blend the perspectives with a built-in mixer, and it's got details like pedal & hammer sounds, sympathetic open string fx, built-in compression & eq, custom impulse reverbs "air" and "wood" to emphasize specific sonic characteristics of this piano, and more.

It's the first in a series of Baldwins I'm producing, with another Baldwin grand in the can, and Baldwin's Acrosnic spinet next in the sampling pipeline.

I'm offering a fully functional demo version, and I would love to get feedback from some of you ProTools users!

Nice! Hopefully a few will jump aboard and give you some valuable feedback.
