Any iMac Core 2 users yet?

Hello, Can you guys give us a dverb count of your new 2.16 & 2.33g Imac core 2 duo, with PT settings?

i have a dedicated FW drive for recording.
2 GB of ram & standard graphix card

a fair bit... mostly softsynths
haven't hit a limit yet!

i run a lot of softsynths with a mostly logic plugins for effects (eq, delay, reverb)

one issue > my prior system was a g5 on which i ran logic pro via a digi 002 rack as the audio interface.
since switching to the imac and intel with os x 1.4.7 i can not get the 002 to perform well.
i think it is a digi coreaudio problem.
so, i have been using my controller keyboard, novation x-station, as a an audio interface.
this works well but, i want to get a FW audio interface soon for logic.
thinking of selling my 002 rack and buying a mbox and monitor the seperate interfaces via a mackie big knob or central station.

i go and pick up my iMac 20" 2.16 1gig 128graphix today... cant wait....

does anyone know if i can just burn a dvd with my winXP protools sessions and open them in Mac PT?

how does that work?

ok, dumb ? i think i know how to do this....set up 32 audio tracks set up 5 d verbs on each track untill it chokes????????

Correct,

Core 2 duo owners on the windows side show a dverb count of up to 130 (the Conroe desktop version, I know, but still I want to know what Merom can offer in terms of power...)

iMac 24" Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz
Mbox 2 Pro Factory
UA LA 610 Preamp/Compressor

Working fine until now!
