Protools session from Windows 7 PC to Mac OSX SL
Good day,
I would like to know if anyone is able to assist me please? I live in new York and my Other producer live in Atlanta and we're both using Protools 9 HD on PC running windows 7 and IMac Intel running Snow leopard and when my producer in Atlanta do a session and copy the entire folder and send it to me via FTP and I open it in Protools on my MAC it keep missing the Audio files and I can't seems to link them. Is there a settings on the PC I need to do to avoid that because when I do it on my MAC (Save on external hard-drive in same folder) and send the entire folder to him it works fine on his PC. Thank you Last edited by DaWrongMan; 05-26-2011 at 08:55 AM. Reason: Missing data |

No no setting. You should have no problems. Try linking with just the file names checked and point pro tools to the exact folder where the audio files reside. I move my windows sessions to osx all the time, every day without issues.
