Working in broadcast, totally get the scenes concept.

Interested in how you’d want that functionality implemented in PT. Scenes on consoles change routing of channels etc. What did you envision with PT?

I’ve never thought of it for a DAW. I guess it would be be like session templates on steroids but with I/O routing changes as well.

1. MIDI note names displayed in the MIDI editor window.

2. On my Mac you have have PT's Mix, Edit & MIDi editors etc

each in their own window or Space.
I was vaguely shocked when switching to PC that, nope, PT was not happy about using it's equivalent of "task views" and everything has to be squashed into one window.

2. MIDI controller "pickup" ie the same as every other DAW i.e. have PT able to recognise when a MIDI control keyboard is switched on and off instead of requiring you to restart Pro Tools Every.Single.Time.

3. At start up, an option to tell PT not rescan plugins Every.Single.Time.

4. Bezier curves with automation

5. MIDI FX plug-ins.

But seeing as I'm off the PT bandwagon now, clutching my perpetual licence tightly to my chest I doubt my opinion is of much worth.

Start up time will be much improved.

1) stop being such a resource hog
2) stop trying to phone home constantly
3) stop crashing and people losing work
4) get a Stable Model .. we have been asking for years and years for a Stable Model .. it was better when tied to hardware and Avid had more control
5) no more Features Until you Get the Program Running Stable as it is NOW .. you are losing people in more ways than doubling the price of Admission for a Loyal beyond call Base !!

let me know when we get 5 more slots to Fill !!!

Cannot agree enough with both of these. I'd add that the Import Audio window is also considerably less elegant to use on PC, vs Mac. Not sure why it has to be that way...
