Plug-in failure

I was having a great time editing phone conversations on my iMac with ProTools Free when all of a sudden the plug-ins failed. I get a swell preview of a cool effect, but when I process, there's no change.

What am I doing wrong?

Check your audio files folder. I suspect that when you used the plug-in to process the audio you created a new audio file.

Have you checked the "use in playlist" button?

That's it! If "Use in Playlist" is deselected, you can preview to your heart's content, but there is no digital signal and you get bupkis in your selection.
