Re: Am I a sick person?? Actually like working with midi in Pro tools
I'm can work MIDI in PT but I do wonder why they haven't done much with it. At least give us playlists and comping.

especially as Avid has said .The idea of a subscription is so that we can do updates quicker. Hmmm, this year my PT renewal fee has brought nothing..zero--zilch. Yet there is an abundance of improvements to be made on the midi side alone. |

Agree totally on those points. Not understanding what Logic devs were thinking there either

Even worse I think is that you can't export a LPX file to LP9 by any means. Can you imagine the furore you'd get on here if Avid released PT13 unable to open PT10 sessions, and unable to export to PT12? Madness. |

Re: Am I a sick person?? Actually like working with midi in Pro tools
I use PT midi and Slate Drums all the time to setup quick guide drum beats for tracking off the floor talent, works great. For me, the most important thing that Avid could do to improve my midi workflow would be to implement the playlist function with midi tracks as we currently have with audio tracks. This would be a huge time saver and organizational improvement to my edit window and track list.
