my PT HD doesn't close properly either.

im running 7.4 on XP, PCI HD2.

when i click "Exit ProTools" it just hangs and i get the "Send Error Report?" dialog box. i click "don't send" and PT closes.

but you know what, besides that it's totally rock solid. i haven't had a PT crash in well over a year of solid use, so i ain't gonna worry about it and mess with the system!

just one of those funny computer things i guess!

If I disable the network card does that keep me from accessing the internet for tech support from sweetwater
Thanks Jack P

Yes it does but you should not have that box on line when you are not needing to be on line. Thats going to be a host of issues. Disable port all the time and enable only for updates.

Yes I don't have it connected to the internet only if sweetawater has to connects for trouble shooting thats it. My c/24 is connected to one of the ethernet ports so disable all except that one should be good to go
did this stop you session from freezing up when closing them out?
Thanks Jack
