Trouble with Strike 1.5 Install from download

I purchased and downloaded Strike 1.5 Upgrade (I was previously licensed to 1.0). I got the iLok key fine, and downloaded all files.

I have them all in a single directory on my "C" drive, and unzip all the content into a folder. I run the "content location" program, and it sets fine.

I start the Strike installer, and it goes fine until it gets to the point where it asks for "Strike Content 1" folder. I select the folder where my content is, but I get an error stating "setup could not find a valid file in the path". It doesn't tell me what sort of file it is looking for, so I'm not sure what it needs. I try to cancel the error and continue install, but the installer doesn't allow that.

I tried the install a second time, and wanted to skip the content install. I figure I could just point to the content afterward. However, the isntaller won't allow me the uncheck "content" - I'm forced to install both.

I was really hoping to get this going tonight, and verion 1 installed without problems. Kind of frustrated.

My system info:
Windows 7 64 bit
6GB RAM, and 1TB drive
Digi 003
Pro Tools LE 8.0.3 running fine

I've had a Strike install issue as well - downloaded all 4 .dmg and the system says "Successful" but when I launch PT1- it says "Pro Tools could not load the following plug-ins because no valid authorization could be found, the iLok key was not connected or the plug-in was damaged". I already downloaded the auths to my iLok and verified they are there. Weird!

I ran the PT10 installer again and it's fixed. DTS needs to make a sticky about this.

When you guys ran the PT10 installer again, did you uninstall it first and then reinstall? I might give it a try if so.

SUCCESS!!!!!!!! Hammster, I uninstalled PT10 and reinstalled. It came right up!!! I do see it flashing a note in the bottom of Strike saying I need to "run the SetContentLocation application"......I see what's up with that now. But hopefully this will fix your issue as well.
