Setting up eucon and artist controllers

Hi

I am re setting up PT 9.0.6 to learn for some simple audio sessions. i loaded it fine. however i have 4 artist series controllers that work fine in logic and cubase sitting here with the latest drivers and PT will not work with them?

i went to ethernet controllers and selected "enable eucon" and when i hit ok it says there is an error doing this and it says nothing else

i went to the HELP files in PT and typed EUCON and it had nothing in it

is there a step by step set up procedure someone has or a youtube of this to get them going in PT ?

if i open cubase they jump right to life and work great

i reloaded 2.6.2 and its fine now
