Question Presonus Digimax D8 vs Focusrite OctoPre MkII?

Just upgraded to a 003 and I'm in the market for 8 more channels. Which one would you choose? Presonus Digimax D8 vs Focusrite OctoPre MkII? I do like how the Focusrite accepts 1/4" as well as XLR, but I don't like how inputs 1 and 2 are on the front!

I've snagged 3 D8s for less than 375.00 so you could say I'm a fan. Remember the D8 does have a pair of 1/4 line ins on the front panel. I've never had a chance to directly compare the D8 with Octopre but I would hope the more expensive OctoPre would sound a bit better. I think the D8 is sonicaly close to the 003 - not mindbendingly better nor is is any worse.

Not sure if that helps or not.
