Hi guys ....i just found this on youtube....it worked!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW00YItjgzg But......when you try to lower a fader it goes down and stays forever there...however if you have a controller you can revert it... What do you think? |

what, you just switch resolution and it triggers the correct behaviour??

Incredible. An annoyance but at least it works.
Could someone verify that this in fact fixes the issue? |

Guys...i can reproduce it every time...
You first switch the resolution, open the session go to MIX PAGE (i think it's crucial) then switch back the resolution...and it works fine... Except the "thing" with the faders...(at least for me) So you can try it and report back... |

I wish I could but I've kept on Mavericks because of this very issue. If the workaround handles it I'll upgrade.
What is the fader "thing?" |

The fader "thing" is ...when you do this approach and the menus are shown right...when you are in mix page and you just click a fader ...the fader goes all way down and you can't move it (with mouse) at all unless you have a midi controller... |

Re: Pro Tools 10 Graphics issue work around for Yosemite
Yes I just noticed that on my test rig. That's a complete deal breaker, worse than the graphics bug.
Which, by the way, seemed only temporary to me. Switching modes did allow the menus to display correctly but after a few minutes they went back to being invisible for some reason. I haven't been able to explore the issue further but at least it's a start. |

Interesting.
The plugin menus look good on the mix window, but not on the edit window. In fact, they look worse on the edit window. There is a new weird offset. Sadly, I do most of my work on the edit window.

Re: Pro Tools 10 Graphics issue work around for Yosemite
It might look good one minute and not the next. Resetting the resolution might help, it might not. Our results have been spotty and unpredictable at best. So far this seems like a temporary band-aid which dissolves over time.
