Can't bounce to MP3
Hope I am posting this in the right place.
Every time I try to bounce to MP3 I get an nice message telling me "The licensing service required to activate this software is not running. Please reinstall the product or download and run the iLok License manger installer here" Ok...I've done that. I installed the latest iLok license manger software. I also tried doing the sync/repair mentioned in searches for this error but I don't have a repair option for my iLok only a synchronize. This is really aggravating me. I even tried copying over the MP3 folder from my Pro Tools install thinking maybe the .DLL was corrupt. Nada, same issue. If anyone has any words of wisdom on this I would be very happy to hear what you have to say. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Can't bounce to MP3
What are you using, Pro Tools 7?
Seriously, we need more info about your system in order to help.

Re: Can't bounce to MP3
Yea sorry.
I am running Pro Tools 11.3.1 on Windows 7 SP1. I have to run Windows 7 because my interface (Delta 1010) does not support Windows 10. Everything worked fine and then all of the sudden the MP3 option quit working and gives me the error provided when I try to bounce to MP#. Pro Tools is installed on the system drive (C:) and all my sessions are on another drive. Please let me know what specific info is needed and I will happily provide it. |

Re: Can't bounce to MP3
Thst shouldn't happen to you, if I'm not mistaken the ability to export mp3 used to come as a separate purchase only a long time ago. Have you checked if there's anything related to mp3 in your ilok?

Re: Can't bounce to MP3
I think this^^^ is your best direction. Look thru all your iLok licenses and see if you have an expired mp3 license from "the old days". This has bitten many

Re: Can't bounce to MP3 (solved)
Well you guys are my good luck charm I got it fixed.
I actually had to uninstall the ILOK software and then I installed the latest version driver only. Just reinstalling without first uninstalling was not fixing the problem. Working like a charm now. Thank you for you replies guys. |
