Default DVD Commentaries 5.1 or Stereo?

Do people usually mix DVD Commentaries for a film in 5.1 or stereo?

I've only done a handful of these, but they've always been stereo (per client request).

99% of the time they are 2.0 due to cost and space remaing on the DVD.

I personally have authored over 200 titles for North American release and mixed many a comentary. I have only once come across a 5.1 DVD commentary for the sound design of 7. Great commentary by the way.
