Default PT Started Popping when Audio Peaks!!!!

I have been mixing some acoustic tracks for a few days and laying out mixes at different levels, eq's etc. For some reason, I have started getting a pop on one song, where there is an audio spike. It hasn't happened before on any other mixes and it doesn't 'not click' with volume lowered. I have checked all my other mixes and none have the click at much louder levels. Could I have unwittingly enabled some kind of peak monitor???

Have you looked at the waveform to see if the spike is actually in the file itself? If it is it's likely you clipped something on the way in. You may be able to repair it with the pencil tool.
