Mbox Pro (3rd Gen) Discontinued?
So I might get bashed asking this but... Has the Mbox Pro (3rd Gen) interface been discontinued? Because I cannot find it at some of the bigger musical we sites like Sweet water and Guitar Senter. A simple yes or no would be fine...

I'm not sure. It's not listed under Avid's "Audio (DAW) section of their new site. But the drivers were updated Jan 14th this year.

I wish there was some kind of upgrade path to the Quartet for us Mbox 3 Pro owners (even if it was just for the hardware.) Just looking at the specs it seems as if the Quartet crushes the Mbox. Come upgrade time I know I'm either going Quartet, Apollo or one of those new Focusrite boxes I've been hearing so much about

Just an idea and i am sure you will love that box. Same preamps and internals in all of the Clarett series so look at them if you want a really good new product for much less than the Quartet.

Looking to refresh the thread - I too am now looking for an upgrade path from Mbox Pro 3 to something that works with thunderbolt and won't break the bank...
