12.5 Video Engine not opening
I have two systems. An HD Native on my Macbook Pro and HD with an Avid 192 on my Mac Pro. Since updating to 12.5 the video engine does not want to launch. Old sessions no longer play the video in the sessions and importing a video does not work. Turning the video engine on just results in a long wait time for it to load up and then it just hangs. Does the same thing on both computers. 12.4 worked perfectly. Does anyone have this issue or a solution?

I actually just spoke with Avid. I deleted the Avid Video Engine file from my Shared/Users, but that didn't fully work. Avid helped by pointing out that I had a hard drive mounted (in this case a USB stick) that had a "/" in it. I deleted the "/" and that actually still didn't work. I just deleted the name and re-named it without the "/" and now everything works perfectly.
