DSP allocation?
I have PT24 w/3 dsp farms w/4.3.1. (I have 5.1 on another drive but still not stable with it, but might give it another try) I am only running a 16 track session with a modest no. of plugs and busses. Just want to bus over to a verb and am getting "not enough dsp". Go to allocator and see 24bit mixer is on chip 1 and 2. Chip 1 has 20% free, chip 2 has 2% free. Delete a bus and chip 2 shows that it gains 3%. Have varying amounts on other dsp chips. How can I get PT to use some of that 20% on chip 1 for a simple stereo bus? I have heard that there is a way to force dsp allocation but never seen anything in print.

Re: DSP allocation?
Close your session, run the DigiTest, trash the DigiSetup file in the DAE folder, restart the computer. This should reset all the DSP RAM and re-allocate when you restart your session.
