Default Turning down one note on one side

I'm just curious how you'd go about fixing this.
I was recording a classical player - a flute player - and as he played one note he moved a bit too much to the right and the note came out slightly too loud, about 3-4db, than the left hand side at that point.

For one to move while they play does not bother me one bit however this was at the beginning of a song and he may have not been fully comfortable yet so he had to make that quick shift. Unfortunately I didn't notice it.

What would you do to turn that one note down on the right hand side?
I was thinking of just setting a couple of volume points right there but then I'd end up turning the left channel down with it.

Not if they're mono tracks... Jus split them into multi mono even if its jus that spot; the stereo track will still be there, so only use that spot by trimming or deleting the rest of the track that isn't needed, leaving the rest on ur stereo track... Now if it isn't a stereo track, then I'm not sure why ur askin

It's a stereo track.

Like Key said, you could split them to mono tracks. If you must leave the track stereo, put a dual mono trim plug-in on the track and write some automation.

I kno u said u got it Gtrdude(I always wanna say Gurtrude)

But another trick is, & I'm jus putting this here for other posters that may come in here, but u could send the stereo track to 2 mono OX tracks, bus the stereo out ex. 1-2, make the 1st OX input bus 1, 2nd input bus 2, & that way u have total control of 2 channels even tho its a stereo track...
