<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Interesting, I'm somewhat disappointed in Battery...for one thing, I've had a bear of time getting it to work in PTle and the Mbox...I find it a severe memory hog....

the other thing is I think the supplied drum samples are weak, and the available Studio drums arent all that much better...

I havent been able to get any kind of output from this sampler without severe clipping, in which case I'm endlessly tweaking to try to get some kind of manageable level....

I've had much better luck with drum hardware modules....Alesis DM pro, drum kits in the Roland xp-series synths and expansion boards, kit from the xv series, Yamaha motif..etc....

I was surprised at the sound of the drums that I got with sample tank free, I think I like them better then my D4, and best of all, it was free.

You are somewhat limited with the free version, but it hasnt affected me yet.
