Hi Scott,

The Avid video here with Jeff is a quick overview of the setup & integration of the MTRX. It's not a deep dive but provides a look at DADman and how it's configured. I'm fairly certain the setup will be the same with the MTRX Studio as I think there is only one version of the app. Also, Marti Humphrey from the Dub Stage did a walk through of the AX32 (the original non-Avid branded unit) into his room here. 12 parts I think. And if you want even more tech, Westlake Pro did a 10 part series on the setup as well. Part 1 here.

After having seen the flexibility in what the MTRX product line is capable of as well as the mixers I know that use them, I felt it was kind of a no-brainer for anyone looking to do a small to medium sized Atmos room.

So always make sure you have set the max. output level so it doesn't exceed the max. input level of the following equipment.
Yes!

But people who just read specs can never understand this. Even if the spec of next box says +24 dBu is fine, it may not be. After all, at what level are the distortion specs run, hmm..? I bet not max levels.

Thanks for this. I haven't really taken the deep dive into DADMan, but I know it's super powerful and flexible. I guess it's time to do the legwork.

You didn't know how to find specs, didn't post link.....but very good at trolling More group think. Is this what you call Moderating or selling product?

What if one connects to a console genius?

I have used Apogee Symphony mkII since 2017 and happy about it. From what I read of MTRX Studio the specs are not worrying me, but the box has potential to be more versatile for my needs. Whatever suits you. i don't care what you choose

Can anyone tell me what the self noise of the MTRX Studio is please?
Does it have a fan?
Its obviously built to be at the mix position as it has a volume knob on the front, but I'm very sensitive to fan noise.
I suppose as you can control it from Eucon it doesn't need to be in front of you, but it'd be interesting to know.
