Re: Mac Vs PC Pro Tools System
yeah i used to run a dual boot system... ran VISTA for everything else but media related tasks for a while.. since win 7 came out and now 10HD ProTools, well... lets just say i'm home... nothing is a surprise to me in the pc world.. thats a plus!.. no downtime.! period.!
but yes you're right.. we now have some serious options when it comes to DAW and Media Production computing... i believe the whole science is coming into its own... i def. could not have seen this coming back in the mid 90s when i was into electrical engineering {college}.... 5 years out of school and i was putting in the time to become a sound engineer... crazy times indeed.!!

Re: Mac Vs PC Pro Tools System
Well, the real answer to this question (no matter how diplomatic or humble one tries to appear) is: "Whatever "I" am using is the best, and if you don't use what "I'm" using then you haven't done your research, or your basing your decision on models from years ago, or you're simply not as intelligent as me!"
Any questions? Good! Check please! |
