TL Metro Not Importing Sound

I created a session on my PC and used TL Metro to import a custom click track tone. I then moved the session to my live mac and everything transferred except the custom imported sound in TL Metro. I tried re-importing the same file into the plug-in and it will not import. Anyone else having this issue and/or have a solution?

Same version of PT on both machines. Also tried on a different mac and had the same issue

Maybe your file is stereo interleaved? TL Metro wants a single mono WAV.

I tried that already, it is a mono file and worked fine importing it on a PC

Just guessing here. Could it be that it won't import the same file twice?
If so, rename the file and try again.

Not sure if this is the exact solution but I renamed and saved as an AIFF instead of a WAV and TADA!! It worked!

This has been a much discussed and known problem since around Pro Tools 9 era. It worked without problems in PT8 days, then stopped working.

I wish someone had thought of that solution back then when we were all complaining about it ;-)

And of course, TL Metro didn't get included in the list of plugins ported over to 64bit for PT11 and up. That was a shame too, as the updated Click plugin still doesn't let you use your own samples even in PT12.
