Default Re: How do I connect the outputs from my MBOX 2 MINI to my home theatre stereo amp pr

Question:
An mbox2 mini connecting to a couple of psb century 300i monitors. If I split the mbox outputs to left and right with a TRS to 2 TS I'm now unbalanced?
are there speakers that are balanced?
what's a good setup?
Thx for the time.

Balanced vs. unbalanced is not your problem here.

An MBox provides line level output, it's not powerful enough to drive speakers. You cannot just connect it or any other interface directly to regular speakers. You need to connect the MBox 2 output to a power amplifier or powered monitors/speakers. Many pro-audio market power amps will accept balanced input and drive (unballanced) speakers. You are likely better off just looking for a pair of powered monitors.
