Default Can\'t save copy as.

Getting the error:

Could not save a copy in "Song" because assertion in "\code\azores_otis\AlturaPorts\PT4_App\PtSess\PtSe ss_XChg.cpp", line 933

What the heck?

Default Re: Can\'t save copy as.

Need more information.

Where were you trying to save it?
Which version of Pro Tools? (Though, I'm guessing 6.9 from the error text)
How did you create the session? New Session? Was it an existing session created on your machine? Or did you open a session created on another machine?
Is there anything unusual about the session? Video? Imported Tracks?

Thanks for the help SPK. You are very clever!

PT 6.9, Digi002. The session was not created on my machine. It was created on an OSX HD machine overseas. When I opened it, I believe it said that the windows compatibilty was not enforced and had to convert all the audio and create a new session file. I've finished my job, and now I need to save a copy, compact, and send back across the ocean. I don't want to compact the original session in case I need to change something radical. I guess I can just manually make a copy in windows, but I'm curious about the cause of this error.

Thanks again,
Adam
