Velocity Issue

I am currently using an instrument track with an XPand2! plugin. I recorded a bass line that is 1 bar. I then proceeded to repeat the bass line 10 more times. As I played back the bass line the first bar is very noticeable and as the repeated bass line continues further the velocity lessens until the bass line is at an even level.

I am confused because I only recorded one bar for the bass line and just repeated it, shouldn't the velocity of that recorded bar be the same for the repeats? Is there a way for all of them to be a constant level?

I don't understand how that happened, but you can edit the velocity for selected notes in the Event Operations window (Option/Alt+3).

Or directly in the track (select velocity view).

Hard to say without seeing what you did.
When you say duplicated the clip, did you use the duplicate or Repeat (Alt + R) method or did you copy and paste the clip?

If they are separate clips, like the others said, open each one and ensure the velocity levels match.

The other thing to check is that you don't have some sort of volume automation on the track that is decreasing the volume as it plays.

That is true, but editing a "million" notes like that would be a nightmare.

grab the Pencil Tool - set to Line ... and even them out .. faster than typing here
