Default Songwriters?

I am just curious as to how many of you are songwiters and how many are non-writing engineers?

Songwriter that spends too much time worrying about engineering issues.

Engineer, bassist, songwriter,

And I can sing, arrange, and other little miscellaneous stuff....saves you lots of money if you learn little trades like that.

And the lowest down the list is a comnputer know how....this one just doesn't click in my mind.....and ooh..i suck terribly at math.

Songwriter, bassist, and de facto engineer/geek.

Interesting. I have a hunch that a lot of the folks here in LE land are probably similar jacks-of-all-trades. Band members, guitarists, etc., who are using PT as a means to a different (non-engineering) end.

I'd bet the HD/TDM crowd has a higher, "pure engineer/producer" ratio than over here.

Would be interesting to know.
