Wait a sec.... aren't you NOT supposed to mix a track before it's all recorded? If I'm correct on that, how do you prepare them an mp3 that's NOT mixed and expect them to mix it properly? I'd rather send them the audio files on 1 full CD, maybe 2. So I KNOW they're using every possibility to make it sound professional. ...But then, I have more fun toying around myself.

i think you have the wrong idea
it is a site so that songwriters who cannot play certain instruments can go to the site send an mp3 of the material that they want the instrument played on. the musician can then play some parts and then send it back in full .wav etc via a server to then be mixed by the songwriter/ producer in there own time. lets face it we have all heard virtual guitarist. its good for certain things still does not sound lie a guitarist. |
