Well now, that is a bit of a buzz kill. I really like my Yosemite set up, everything works and is rock solid stable.

If Yosemite compatibility does not return in future iterations of PT I guess I'm done paying my annual subscription fee... Yay!

It's deopped and dropped means no more time spent supporting yosemite. Sorry but Sierra is a really great OS version, not High Sierra though... yet

Anyway to change the title of this thread to get more views and attention? I'm really disappointed at how much slower the GUI feels.

Why do you need more attention than this thread has already? This is not a problem everyone has, nothing GUI related here on MBP's and Mac Pro's.

Forget ElCrap alltogether. It sucks and there are way too many issues posted here to even begin to sort thru.

Go to Sierra. You can email Apple and get the full installer free.

Thanks!

I was looking for Sierra and Apple updated this page yesterday, and it seems to have Sierra available to download:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208202

Good news!

But it is a problem I have, so I'd like to make sure anyone else having GUI issues reads it and weighs in.

Running 2013 MP 6 core, 2560x1440, Sierra 10.12.6. PT HDX. S3 & Dock.

Dragging a track in edit window crazy slow. Scrolling using Apple magic mouse crazy slow in mix window. Have reset all prefs, done a safe boot after my OS upgrade, reset PRAM, diskwarrior, etc.

Start a new thread titled GUI LAG 12.8.2 and If there are more people with this issue then that thread will be where to go

Sorry if I came off rude, not my intention, just wanted to keep this thread
(soon 4 pages) on 12.8.2 topic.

PS. Do you mean trashed preferences and databases when you say reset?

Thanks - didn't mean to derail the thread. Just want to know if it's a legitimate issue or I have some troubleshooting to do.
