Default Building new computer for PT 10

Hi guys
new to the forum.

Can anyone recommend a good resource to decide what elements ill need in a new computer for he best stability etc

Currently been using windows vista sp2 on pt 7.4 with mbox2 for a home demos studio... after a fresh format and install pt just crashes before it opens whenever i try to run it. Reinstalled numerous times in the past with no problems and have tried reinstalling this time to no avail.

Decided to upgrade with new pc and pt 10.

Need to figure out:

Whats the best OS to run with?
Any sound or graphics cards I specifically need?
optimum amount of ram?
Any quirks or bugs that could lead to incompatibility?

Any advice would be much appreciated

Socket 1366 i7 on an X58 motherboard with 3x4GB triple channel RAM(tried and true, but getting old) or Socket 2011 i7 on an X79 motherboard with 16(or 32)GB of quad channel RAM. That's the basics. Add a modest nVidia graphics card, a beefy power supply(750 watts) and a few WD Caviar Black drives and you'll be good to go There is an established thread on i7 builds in the Pro Tools LE section.
