Scroll wheel zoom
After woking with Vegas for some projects, I've gotten very used to the zooming feature on the scroll wheel. Sound Forge uses the same method. I thought of assigning the T and R keys to the wheel, but can't figure out any way of doing this.
Anyone? |

Re: Scroll wheel zoom
It would be in the software for your specific mouse. I wouldn't use T & R, though. Use the long way, command + [ or command + ]. That way if for some reason your command keys focus gets turned off, it still works.
I have a Microsoft mouse and trackball, and it's in Intellipoint I think in the control panel. Check your mouse manufacturer's website for the latest driver. Dave

Re: Scroll wheel zoom
In Pro Tools 6 (not sure about 5) there are scroll/zooming features where when you hold down a modifier (apple, control, option) it will both scroll and zoom in a variety of ways (horizontal/vertical, etc). I just learned this the other day, sorry I can't be more specific but I think it is what you are looking for. I believe I read about it in the What's New in PT 6.

Re: Scroll wheel zoom
Beautiful, madlo!
Alt-scroll= zoom, Shift-scroll=horizontal scroll and regular scroll=vertical scroll. Thanks, should have figured out that by myself... |
