Default Unwanted Fades created after recording

I'm running PT 5.1.3 TDM mix and for some reason when I stop recording audio PT automatically creates fade in and fade outs. I can't find any mention of this in the manual and can't turn in off. Any ideas????

Check your setup preferences under the "editing" tab to make sure the Quick Punch Crossfade Length is set to 0.
