Pro Tools 10 (standard): 32 tracks of simultaneous recording. Love it.

That's why I don't trust this smell.

One last question - the feature of writing into RAM - available with CPTK?
Yes for RAMDISK - That's what they said on webcast.

If I wanted to spread falseness... I would just let people continue to post their own theories.

I'm guessing that some people who purchased a $600 or so HD9 license are now facing an HD10 upgrade price that may be hard to swallow.

I was thinking of doing that and happy I did not. Of course if they really want the RAMDISK etc. then maybe money well spent.

We also learned why Ewoks have padded feet. The answer does not come with PT10 though, and since we cannot post pictures...

Nice webcast :)

Just to be clear.......I understand the ramdisk feature loads outside the RAM used by PT (and thereby gets around the 4GB limit per application in a 32 bit OS). But does ramdisk require a 64 bit OS? For example, Kontakt does this somewhat, even as a plugin within PT and it doesn't require a 64bit OS. It just requires you have more ram than 4GB.
