I'm guessing that some people who purchased a $600 or so HD9 license are now facing an HD10 upgrade price that may be hard to swallow.

I was thinking of doing that and happy I did not. Of course if they really want the RAMDISK etc. then maybe money well spent.

Just to be clear.......I understand the ramdisk feature loads outside the RAM used by PT (and thereby gets around the 4GB limit per application in a 32 bit OS). But does ramdisk require a 64 bit OS? For example, Kontakt does this somewhat, even as a plugin within PT and it doesn't require a 64bit OS. It just requires you have more ram than 4GB.

NO ram disk do work on 32 bit system.
